Recognizing your own emotions is the first step in building your Emotional Intelligence.

Create an emotional intelligence improvement plan, answering these questions.

· How do you build your social awareness and be able to develop your empathy for others?

· How do you communicate with empathy in your daily communications at work and home?

· How do your actions affect others in the workplace?

· How can you leverage all of this to become a better leader in an organization?

· How can your own increase in Emotional Intelligence assist you to build a stronger EQ within an organization?

Requirements:

· Research how to create an improvement plan. Follow the format you locate and indicate which plan you are using.

· Your plan should be 3 pages in length and conform to the APA guidelines in the  CSU Global Writing Center (Links to an external site.) .

· Include at least 2-5 scholarly references in addition to the course readings and videos. The  CSU Global Library (Links to an external site.)  is a good place to find these references.
