Virtue Ethics

A virtue refers to an individual’s characteristic, which supports his or her collective well-being and moral excellence. Virtues develop over time, but once they develop, an individual will act predictably, appropriately, and consistently. However, a virtue can bring about negative effects when it is in excess or when it is deficient. Virtues are only acceptable in the right portion (Aristotle, 1955). I personally believe that economic stability, freedom, and spirituality are the virtues, which are important today.
