Readings: Selections From: Hard to Get: Twenty-Something Women and the Paradox of Sexual Freedom, by Leslie Bell Bell discusses two categories of general female behavior in relationships in her essay, the “Good Girl,” and the “Bad Girl.” However, before she delves into her case studies in the latter portion of the essay, Bell mentions the concept of “the Desiring Woman.” Although the definition of the Desiring Woman is only implied by Bell, your task for Paper 1 is to construct a thesis which you will defend using direct quotes from Bell which responds to the following prompt: How do you define the Desiring Woman?
