Order Details;

Below are 4 individual separate questions. I didn’t want to order each one of them individually, so I’ve put them all in here. You don’t need to write a lot about them, feel free to write as much as you think is needed for each one of them. When answering the questions, write the question and then the answer.

1)Why, according to John Hooker, must acts have reasons? Do you find his argument convincing?

2) Do you agree with Hooker that actions that cannot be generalized are morally suspect? Does Hooker convince you that his four ‘corollaries’ follow from the generalization test? Give reasons for your opinions.

3) If Hooker is correct and ethical action requires reasons, can corporations be said to act at all? Are corporations moral persons? Evaluate and discuss the ways in which Goodpaster and Matthews (Use file: Can a Corporation Have a Conscience) defend applying the concept of moral action to corporations. But if corporations have rights, mustn’t they have responsibilities?

4) How, according to Hooker, does the generalization test limit Friedman’s profit maximization duty (Use 1 or both files on Friedman)? Do you agree with Hooker? Give reasons.
