Throughout this course you learned about various theories of personality based on the
psychodynamic perspective, the trait perspective, learning-theory perspectives, the
humanistic-existential perspective, and the sociocultural perspective. For this
assessment, let’s begin by exploring your personality further by taking a free
assessment called The “Big Five”: The Factor Model, which is supported through the
trait perspective. This assessment can be accessed by visiting
http://www.truity.com/test/big-five-personality-test.
Once you complete the assessment, in a one-page essay analyze your results and defend
whether you agree or disagree with the results. A key component of personality theory
and assessments is to gain insight into our interpersonal relationships. Interpersonal
skills are key to our interactions with others personally and professionally. Through
self-reflection and insight into one’s own personality such as the traits described in this
assessment can be very beneficial in working to improve our interpersonal
