You’ll recall that for the SLP assignment for this course, we are conducting assessments of database programs and demonstrations available online. For this module, your task is to try a tutorial of your own choosing that you locate yourself. It’s not very difficult. You might start with entering a search string like “free online network management tutorials” or “free online computer network tutorials” into Google; you’ll have a lot to choose from in nanoseconds. You’re also welcome to try any other source(s) you find appropriate. As always, the more of the tutorial you can work through, the better; however, your grade is primarily dependent on how you approach the task and how much learning energy you put into it rather than specific output from the tutorial. Once you have completed your exploration of the tutorial, to finish the project for this module you are to prepare a 2-4 page report covering the following topics: what the tutorial teaches how good a job the tutorial does (include any of your personal experiences with it that might be relevant) who might find the tutorial useful any other aspect of the tutorial that you think a reader might find useful finally, please also comment also on the effectiveness of the overall tutorial mechanism as a mode of learning for the session long project in this kind of course [please note: you will not be graded here on whether you approve or disapprove of this mechanism, but only on the degree of thought and attention that you put into your answer] When your paper is done, send it in to CourseNet.
