First question:

The Pantheon in Rome and the Temple of Heaven in Beijing are both circular buildings. Does the use of the same form indicate that both buildings have the same meaning? Or is this a mere coincidence? Both the Alhambra in Granada and the Castle at Chambord were places where kings lived. How do these two palaces communicate this function. Focus especially on how each of these monuments expresses the status of the king and the political power of the king?

fourth question:

Does the main façade of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice suggest an actual structural support skeleton, or just a message about the status of this building? How does the façade design answer this question?

Last question:

The garden design of the Villa d’Este, Tivoli was built for a cardinal of the Christian church, and one would expect that it follows Christian dogma in expressing its meaning. How does this garden communicate its Christian religious meaning?
