My thesis statement is; In the novel, To Kill a Mockingbird, Harper Lee portrays how anger, panic and the ignorance of racism can be more weighty than rationalization and intelligent judgments.
The thesis paper most have examples from the book!!
I have an introductory paragraph that can be used or modified, etc
There are many different forms of prejudice behavior in today’s society. Most people believe that we as humans have left all the horrors of discrimination in the past but in reality it is still a real issue. Harper Lee does a great job of bringing attention to her readers of such discrimination with To Kill a Mockingbird. To Kill a Mockingbird comes across, at first, as a simple, pure story that follows the lives of two innocent children as they grow and mature. As you read the book you will find imdirect touches and character dialogue that brings racism to light. Lee uses noticeable symbols in her writing of this award-winning novel for a reason.
