With reference to EU legislation and decisions of the Court of Justice of the European Union, critically analyse the extent to which Member States can restrict or prevent the free movement of persons on grounds of public policy or public security.

An excellent research base, including relevant non legal sources, that has been very accurately applied largely without any meaningful error to produce a beautifully written highly analytical essay.
Logically argued with the integration of appropriate examples with very effective synthesis of the material applying relevant legal terminology and conventions with great care.
Overall demonstrates a full understanding of the subject area written succinctly and lucidly.
70%-80%
An excellent piece of work that analyses in detail all or almost all of the strengths and weaknesses of the principles and concepts.
It demonstrates a high level of appreciation and understanding of the contextual dimension including relevant policy issues and alternative solutions.
An excellent research base, including relevant non legal sources, that has been accurately applied without significant errors to produce a very well written highly analytical essay.
